I feel motivated to write something this morning, right now! Might be the awesome cup of French roast I am having, or just inspiration from thinking about awesome people I have met in my life! I once read this amazing quote that I entirely live by it: "You are the sum of all the people you have ever met”. They change you, and you change them... Coming into Holidays, I start remembering more of all those positive persons I have met in my life that have changed me, and made me a more positive person. They taught me to believe in my dreams, and work for them. I want to thank you if you are one of them, because you have pushed my drive go one step more toward my dream. Life is beautiful, and short. And it's always about the present, and the moment. That's everything we have right now! I would only take the best from the past, and learn from the worst. The future will be whatever you are working for in the present... For all of you that have high dreams, and no matter how many ups or downs you go through, and keep going, I admire you, and wish you the best. Thanks for being there to inspire me, and I will do the same thing. Coming into next season makes me feel a bit more relaxed, since I have changed my perspective, mindset, and outlook of many things in my sport. I am excited to share this with the teammates I will have next year, and will be there to help them win a lot of bike races. My team will be awesome. Eder Frayre, and Freddy Cruz will be joining us. Amazing talents and friends from my hometown Ensenada! Watch out for these two kids. I am sure we will see them in the Tour one day. Training is going super solid. Putting a good strong foundation for next year. Just finished 2.5 months of weight/ cross training, then jumped into more riding in the mountains now and yoga. I am not riding hard as I used to do it before in previous winters. All my rides are at my AT zone (140-165bpm) in the mountains for about 3-5 hours pushing the pedals... January will change a bit with more tempo, and some threshold. I might do a group ride or two before getting into the races, but I think those will be at my team training camp in Solvang halfway through January... Hope everyone is having a solid winter, and all your projects are moving forward. I will see you in the races very soon. Best of luck. CHEERS!
